CURRENT TRENDS IN CONTINUING EDUCATION OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHERS

Abstract

A general description of the changes in the system of the continuing education of foreign language teachers in Russia is presented. Such concepts as continuing education, lifelong education, and recurrent education are analyzed. International experience is regarded as one of the possible solutions to the problems of continuing education.
